1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Pure Amino website and your purchase of any products from it. By browsing this website, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Research Use Agreement, and our Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use this website or purchase from it.
2. Eligibility
You may use this website and purchase products only if you are at least 21 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract, and provide accurate and complete information when ordering. We may refuse or cancel any order where we believe these conditions are not met.
3. Research Use Only
Every product sold by Pure Amino is sold strictly for laboratory and institutional research purposes. Products are not for human or veterinary use of any kind — including diagnosis, treatment, dosing, injection, ingestion, or topical application — and are not dispensed as drugs, foods, cosmetics, or dietary supplements. Your affirmation of research-use-only intent is collected at checkout and recorded with your order. Purchasing in violation of this condition is a material breach of these Terms and voids any return or refund eligibility.
4. Products, Pricing & Availability
Product listings, specifications, and prices may change at any time without notice. All prices are in U.S. dollars. We work to keep listings accurate, but errors can occur; if a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information, we may cancel the affected order and refund any amount charged. Quantities may be limited, and we may impose per-order or per-customer limits.
5. Orders & Payment
Your order is an offer to purchase; our acceptance occurs when the order ships. We may refuse, limit, or cancel any order at our discretion — including orders we suspect are intended for non-research use, placed with inaccurate information, or flagged by our payment processor. Payment is collected at the time of order through our payment provider using the methods shown at checkout. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
6. Shipping
We currently ship within the United States only. Standard shipping is a flat $9; orders over $120 ship free. Transit estimates are not guarantees, and carrier delays are outside our control. Title and risk of loss pass to you upon our delivery of the package to the carrier. Please inspect orders on arrival and report damage or discrepancies to us promptly.
7. Returns & Refunds
Returns are accepted on unopened vials within 14 days of delivery. Opened, used, or improperly stored products cannot be returned — lyophilized research compounds cannot be restocked once their container has been opened. To start a return, contact contact@pureamino.com with your order number. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after the returned product is received and inspected. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return results from our error.
8. Certificates of Analysis & Product Data
Pure Amino publishes lot-level analytical data, including third-party purity testing, for the products we sell. This data describes the tested lot only, is provided for research documentation purposes, and is not a warranty of fitness for any particular research application.
9. Website Content & Intellectual Property
All content on this website — text, product imagery, renders, logos, layouts, and code — is the property of Pure Amino or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our prior written permission, except for ordinary personal, non-commercial browsing.
10. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to: (a) purchase or use products for human or veterinary use; (b) resell or redistribute products in violation of applicable law; (c) misrepresent your identity, age, or purchasing intent; (d) interfere with the operation or security of this website; (e) scrape, harvest, or copy site content or customer data; or (f) use this website in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
11. Privacy
Information you provide to us is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using this website you consent to that handling.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
This website and all products are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, except for the express lot-level analytical specifications published for each product. Statements on this website have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration — see our Disclaimer.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pure Amino, its owners, and its employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of this website or any product purchased through it. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim. You assume all responsibility and liability for the transport, storage, handling, and use of research materials from the moment of delivery.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pure Amino, its owners, and its employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your handling or use of products contrary to these Terms or our Research Use Agreement.
15. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Pure Amino is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of this website shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in that state, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
16. Severability & Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. These Terms, together with the Research Use Agreement and Disclaimer, are the entire agreement between you and Pure Amino regarding this website and supersede any prior understandings.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current revision. Continued use of the website after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
